The government has said it will begin to sell stakes in a nymber of domestic corporations "immediately" in order to raise cash to help reduce its massive debts.
Meanwhile, the government's midterm fiscal program aims to raise 6.4 billion euros thrugh the imposition of additional direct and indirect taxes.

ATHENS INTERNATIONAL RADIO 104.4 FM
The employees of Athens International Radio 104.4 FM, the foreign radio station for the Municipality of Athens, are requesting the presence of your community's members at a protest rally on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 5.30 pm in front of the Dorian Inn Hotel located in Omonoia Square on 15-19 Pireos Street.
The protest for the reinstatement of Athens International Radio to full working status will coincide with a meeting of candidates for the municipality of Athens for the elections scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 7, 2010.
